As the 2008 President of Network Galway it is my pleasure to welcome you to our Website. We are first and foremost an Organisation supporting Women in Business, the Professions & the Arts. We offer a unique mixture of formal and social business networking and learning, facilitating the growth of lifelong strong professional and personal relationships.

I recognise that the coming year will be challenging for all businesses, and I commit that Network Galway will work closely with inspiring speakers and experts at its monthly events to assist our members in remaining both competitive and productive. My committee and I are also establishing a discussion forum exclusively for our members. This is a secure area where members can seek advise from each other, promote their business online and tap into the varied and necessary experts our organisation has to offer. It is our intention that this resource will become invaluable to all of our members.

Some of our other priorities for the year, include Network Galway becoming a strong lobbying voice in Galway city, on the issues of infrastructure, future planning and traffic congestion. We must work hard as an organisation to remove obstacles to business growth in our city.

On a personal note I am very much looking forward to the challenging year ahead and to expanding the membership of Network Galway. Network Galway meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the Westwood House Hotel at 8pm. Non – members are always welcome.
